Weekly update, week ending 06/11/2020
Hello everyone and apologies for not posting last Friday, I enjoyed a well-earned day off with my girls as they were on Half-term from school.
This week saw 4 orders confirmed for customers Bespoke Steel framed buildings, this is obviously great news for us especially given the current situation. These buildings ranged from Agricultural, Industrial, Insulated, and non-insulated and were all designed with the customers needs at the forefront of our design. It’s certainly going to be an exceptionally busy run up to Christmas and beyond for us here at National Steel Buildings!
So, this week saw us enter another National Lockdown, it certainly feels differently this time with Schools remaining open, this does mean however I do not need to return to the home-schooling which is a relief!
Thankfully with construction been able to continue, we have not been massively affected as all members of staff (except obviously the installation teams) can and are working from home.
Enquiries have continued to come in and also many customers we quoted some months ago have been back in touch which is great, some of them have had planning approved and are now in a position to proceed and some wanted some changes to the original quotation, which we are always happy to help with.
Before the restrictions came in on Thursday, we travelled to Leeds to meet with a potential customer who wanted advice and guidance on his proposed Steel Framed building, we were able to provide this and we are hopeful that this will lead to another order in the very near future.
As a company we will be trying to minimise travelling as per Government guidelines but we understand sometimes this just wont be possible so we just wanted to reassure you that we will only be completing one site visit per day per person and that all guidelines in regards to social distancing/hand sanitising is adhered to at all times. By only completing one site visit per day, per person this ensures that we are not contributing to the spread of this horrible virus and hopefully we can all return to “Normal” soon.
Have a great weekend, enjoy the Sunshine and Stay safe!
