Weekly update, week ending 04/12/2020
Hello and welcome to another Friday!
How on Earth are we already in December, this year has absolutely flown by for us all despite all the craziness.
Thankfully once again, COVID is not causing us too much of a headache and we continue to trade as normal.
This week, along with the normal quoting/telephone calls and emails I have updated our CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety assessment scheme) accreditation.
CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) have been helping to improve health and safety standards across the UK and safeguard organisations from risk.
They work in partnership with leading industry bodies and independent organisations to provide clients and contractors alike with a single solution for accreditation, risk assessment, supply chain management and industry training.
CHAS is an authority and trusted advisor on health and safety compliance, responsible for setting industry benchmarks and providing the new Common Assessment Standards.
Their aim is simple:
•︎ To standardise and simplify health and safety assessment for contractors
•︎ To support organisations in efficiently managing their supply chains
•︎ To deliver a full suite of supply chain management tools.
By been CHAS Accredited, it reassures our customers and potential customers that here at National Steel Buildings Ltd we take Health and Safety very seriously, many customers will only use CHAS accredited companies.
Doing this also meant that all our various Health and Safety Policies have been checked and updated accordingly.
Our on-going projects continue to progress really well. We have two new projects starting early next week so final preparations are been made for these including informing customers of the estimated time of arrival of their Bespoke Steel building and what they can expect once our Installation team get on to Site.
Have a great weekend (Maybe too early for Merry Christmas?)
Kellie – National Steel Buildings Ltd 😊
